Merribrook tops WA in events
Cowaramup based teambuilding event company, Merribrook Corporate Outdoors has topped the state in last Fridays MEA (Meetings Events Australia) awards, held at the Hyatt Hotel in Perth. This is the premier accolade in the Western Australian meetings and events industry.
Winning their division, 2008 Conference and Support Services, Merribrook focuses on client service, quality and creativity which has set them a cut above the rest for the qualifying period of July 2007 to June 2008.
“Being a small team we work hard on designing, planning and delivering large, cutting edge incentive events and team building programmes and this is a great result to be rewarded with such an honour, we are looking forward to the outcome of the national awards in April” said Managing Director, Richard Firth from his Merribrook Retreat property.
“Helping and rewarding other companies teams is what we do on a weekly basis, so its fantastic to be on the other side and for our team to see such success reinforced with an award like this. We are always proud to have been a regional Margaret River company that has expanded state wide over the past 25 years. Our product has changed enormously from our early days of adventure ropes courses and canoe trips to now offering Amazing Race in Perth and the Fremantle Da Vinci Team Code plus our now famous Merribrook Safari Challenge set up at Merribrook Retreat ” Firth said.
As the state winner Merribrook is now a national finalist and will solely represent WA in their category for the national awards, presented at MEA’s annual national conference in Adelaide this April.
Merribrook’s next team event is themed on the Amazing Race with multiple companies competing against each other in a corporate challenge, starting from the CBD late March
