Project Simulator is a superbly complex and challenging strategic planning exercise which explores the importance of TEAMWORK. Designed for teams who have done teambuilding programs before and are ready to really test themselves, this program offers a powerful link back to the workplace.

The challenge maximises a teams efficiency in a way directly related to team performance in the workplace and maximise profit for the organisation with a percentage result evaluation at the end.

The activity aims to simulate your business’s specific units and departments in a large scale problem solving challenge. A three hour exercise, your group will be divided into sub teams and allocated a station which follows in the typical order of your daily business operations.

The activity recreates an intense work environment where decisions need to be made in the face of various curveballs (such as supply or demand changes). The problem is, it is not immediately obvious how to maximise your scoring potential once in the marketplace. It is only through discussion and sharing of information that teams can maximise their potential profit. Teams quickly learn the importance of listening to all ideas and brainstorming, planning v’s action and the importance of team leadership in varied roles.
Teams are given a percentage score based on their results which is a direct reflection of their ability to think strategically and perform as a team.

The Project Simulator is a Merribrook original and can be run on its own or combined with another program. Generally the brief, activity then debrief takes around 3 hours.
